Sorcery for Dummies

Sorcery for Dummies modifies the Talk script for Griggs and Logan at Firelink Shrine, forcing them to sell spells to low intelligence characters.

This is designed for Randomizer type runs where Griggs and Logan sell valuable non-spell items.

But you can install this mod for any type of playthrough!

Compatibility

This mod only modifies a single file, the Talk script for Firelink Shrine. Most mods seem to avoid this file, except for the various Better Bonfires mods.

• []Daughters of Ash may not be compatible. I am not able to create a patch for Daughters of Ash due to the installation process.

  []Ascended Mod is compatible.

• I have prepared Compatibility Patches for both Better Bonfires and (Slightly) Better Bonfires.

Installation

ModEngine2 is required for Dark Souls Remastered modding.

To install, just copy the Scripts folder from inside the mod folder into your Dark Souls Remastered game directory.

- If you are using a Randomizer, run the Randomizer after installing this mod.

- If you use a mod with a Compatibility Patch, install that mod first, then install Sorcery for Dummies Compatibility Patch last.

Online Usage Warning

This mod may result in a ban!

Using this mod to buy spells early may result in FromSoft's anti-cheat flagging your character.

Please keep Steam in Offline Mode when playing with this mod.

Be sure to use Steam's Offline Mode, just going "Offline" in-game is not enough.
