📋 About This Mod
This mod adds new visual effects for weapon ascensions, including Lightning, Fire, Chaos, Abyss (Occult), Divine, Magic, and Enchanted. It also introduces new visual effects for weapon buffs such as Sunlight Blade, Darkmoon Blade, and
Hello guys!
This mod is a remastered (and improved) version of my old PTDE release. It adds more visual effects than its predecessor, so I hope you all enjoy it :)
One downside of this mod is that you might not be able to see smaller enemies clearly when using certain effects because of how bright they are. If you're wondering why I didn’t scale them down—well, doing so would make the effects look really ugly.
Also, you can't use two effects at the same time. That's a limitation from the game itself and would require deep hardcoded modding skills to make it work for both hands (I’d love to do that too, but probably not anytime soon).
This mod adds almost all weapon visual effects—excluding poison, because honestly, I couldn't care less about it lol. But maybe I’ll include it in a future update.
My future plans for this mod include adding sound and on-hit visual effects, and fixing a few remaining issues I haven’t figured out yet.
That’s all for now—hope you enjoy the mod!

You all should definitely check out his mod if you think mine is a bit too much, lol.
Update Info v2. 0. 0:
After some tinkering, I finally added a visual effect on hit! (Kind of.)
What I actually did was create a special effect that only has visuals—no gameplay effect. It’s kinda like bleed, but with no actual status effect—just visuals.
Oh yeah, just so you know: unfortunately, I couldn’t add the on-hit visual effect to buffed weapons like resins, magic weapon buffs, or Darkmoon Blade. (Somehow, Sunlight Blade works though—lol.) I’ll update the mod again once I figure out how to fix that!
For now, there are three files available to download:
-
[]The latest one, which includes the on-hit visual effect
[]The normal one (Param fix)
[]The no-sound version
And maybe I’ll also make a no-sound version of the on-hit visual effect later.
That’s all from me for now—hope you all enjoy the mod!
