Gesture Cancel Remastered

Aka, "things that could've been done 2 years ago but weren't"

Description:

This mod enables you to cancel out of the gesture animations by doing one of the following:

• []Rolling/Backstepping

  []Attacking

  []Blocking/Parrying

  []Using an Item

No more getting owned for a simple innocent shrug in someone's face.

Inspired by a mod Gesture Cancel by RavagerChris37 for DS PTDE.

Done using DS Anim Studioby Meowmaritus.

Installation:

• []Make a backup of /Dark Souls Remastered/chr/c0000.anibnd.dcx

  []Replace /Dark Souls Remastered/chr/c0000.anibnd.dcx by the c0000.anibnd.dcx provided in the archive

Merging:

In case there's another mod that uses c0000.anibnd.dcx, you might merge it with this mod using DS Anim Studio.

In the archive I've included the list of animation IDs that need to be adjusted ("GCR_AnimList.txt").

Alternitevly, you can message me, and I'll try to make an optional merged file.

Version of Gesture Cancel Remastered merged with my other mod - Better Backsteps can be found in the downloads section of Better Backsteps.

Version of Gesture Cancel Remastered merged with Better Backsteps and Better Rolling (by Hocter) can also be found in the optional files of Better Backsteps.

Merge of all of the above (BR + BB + GCR) together with Charitable Parry by Greensad can be found in the optional files section of the Charitable Parry mod.

Other things:

1. This mod is not directly compatible with DS PTDE. c0000.anibnd.dcx files are different between DS and Remaster. Of course you can just edit specific animation IDs as decribed in "Merging".

2. I don't know for sure, but given what editing animation files can do to some game mechanics, I would assume that you ARE going to get softbanned for going online with this mod installed.
