PS4 Controller Icons from Dark Souls Remastered

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin doesn't support the DualShock 4 natively. To use one, you need to emulate an Xbox controller. While you can do that with Steam's PlayStation Configuration Support, you can also do it with an application such as DS4Windows. However, regardless of the method you're using, the game will still display Xbox icons. This is where this mod comes in. It replaces the Xbox icons with the PS4 icons from Dark Souls Remastered. I think they look nicer and they match pretty well with the interface of Dark Souls II.

Installation

• []Open the game's directory. The location of this directory depends on how you installed Steam, but it should be something like:

  steam\steamapps\common\Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin\Game.

  []Make a backup of the "font" folder. For example, copy/paste it in the same directory and rename it to something like "font backup".

  Do NOT delete the "font" folder after making the backup. The mod only replaces some of the files that are inside it, not all of them.

  []Download this mod, extract it and copy/paste the "font" folder into the game's directory. Choose to replace all the files.

[]This mod only works with Scholar of the First Sin.

[]This mod replaces the Xbox icons with PS4 icons. So, if you later plan on using an Xbox controller to play Dark Souls II, you won't be seeing Xbox icons. You'll have to uninstall the mod first.
