[
]Mods made for the low quality game preset will likely not convert correctly, partly due to IGP11's limitations.[]Only supports the newer IGP11 names (such as 2097152_14884727286851715250.dds). Older IGP11 names (such as a93a4e63.dds) are not supported.
Manually renaming texture files
The tool can also output the file names for not recognized textures, if you have any that was not converted. However, the names returned will only be valid if the texture is the original game texture, not one that comes with your mod.
-

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid track record with 236 endorsements and nearly 7k downloads
- Fills a real gap—lets you bring old IGP11 texture mods into the newer engine
- Simple utility, does one job and does it well
⚠️ Cons
- Only works for texture overrides—won't help with other mod types
- Requires you to have the original IGP11 mods on hand, so it's not a standalone fix
- Compatibility risk: converted mods may not work perfectly with all DS2LE setups, so test before committing
For Dark Souls 2 players who've upgraded to Scholar of the First Sin but miss their favorite IGP11 texture mods. If you're a modder or enjoy custom textures, this tool is a must-have. Skip if you don't use IGP11 mods or prefer gameplay over visuals.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the original IGP11 mod files before converting—you'll need them as input.
- After converting, place the output files in the DS2LE mod folder and check that the textures load in-game.
- If a converted texture looks off, double-check that the original IGP11 mod was designed for the same texture slots.
