Fog Gate Randomizer for Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin

A simple program that randomizes fog gate destinations in Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin.

Features

• []Randomizes all the fog gate destinations.[/]

  []Not tested with any other mods (see below for compatibility with item and enemy rando).[/]

  []Randomizes only the fog gates and not the warps in the game like Giant Memories.[/]

Some Thing to Note

• []Boss fights will not activate unless you enter the area around the Entrance gate (Some will require you to be extremely close to fog door) not the exit gate.[/]

  []Some boss will attack you but you will not be able to attack them unless they are activated. To activate read above point.[/]

  []Try looking for different ways around the map like dropdowns and reverse traversal to find new paths.[/]

  []Should be possible to finish the game and reach all places. Report with the seed if you discover any softlocks and bugs.[/]

Installation

• []Copy the contents of the zip file to the game folder that contains DarkSoulsII.exe[/]

How to finish the game

1. Find Giant Memory and defeat the Giant Lord Boss.

2. Find Nashandra and defeat her.

Hints (if you are stuck)

1. You can enter back into smeltor demon arena after the fog gate by jumping down

2. You can drop down in undead crypt to skip the first mandatory fog gate and reach bonfire Undead Ditch

3. You can drop behind the foggate near the windmill burn location in earthen peak

4. You can drop from the bonfire in 3. to access other parts of earthen peak

5. In shulva after gank fight foggate you can drop and explore whole initial shulva section

6. You do not need to light the sconce in darkchasm dungeons to complete it, just kill all the enemies and exit from fog gate to register it as completed dungeon

7. If you have ashen mist heart and reach the vendrick memory if you exit the memory it will take you inside Vendric
