Accurate Dex Scaling Fixes (Scholar)

If you weren't already aware, Dark Souls 2's dexterity scaling is worse across the board compared to every other stat. This is partially hidden by the fact that DS2's dex scaling letters thresholds are lower than for other stats, but you can still notice the difference in damage per point of stat investment.

This mod includes two params: FeWeaponThreshold and WeaponStatsAffectParam. The first changes the dex scaling letter thresholds to be the same as every other stat. You can see the scaling values on the wikidot. The dex values will be the same as the strength ones.

The second param affects actual weapon scaling, and I just applied a broad 1. 5x multiplier to dex scaling for all weapons whose scaling was 80 or lower. For weapons above 80 (i.e. ones that would effectively already be S scaling) I only applied a 1. 2x multiplier. This results in the max scaling for any melee dex weapon being 120, which is the same for strength. The specific weapons that achieve 120 dex scaling are: Loyce Greatsword, Blacksteel Katana, Ricard's Rapier, and the Chaos Blade.

You can see the vanilla scaling values on this spreadsheet to get an understanding of why I chose to apply such broad/large multipliers. On average this should match up with the corrected scaling letters, with some being a little off (e.g. Flamberge now has A scaling but it's obviously a lot higher than the vanilla S).

The sample pictures are only using the FeWeaponThreshold param to show that something is being changed, because otherwise it's just some slight damage increases. I wanted to make a version for original DS2 as well but it seems that the current modding tools for extracting params only work with Scholar.

- Load Loose Param Files and DS2 Scholar of the First Sin.

Installation:

- Just copy the two param files into Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin\Game\Param

- If you do not want the scaling increases and just want the letter correction, only copy FeWeaponThreshold.
