📋 About This Mod

Introduction

This mod is a complete rework and ad the same time merge of my two previous mods: Easier Covenant Item Drops and More Item Drops - Always drop something, making them both obsolete and no longer recommended to use. In short, what this mod does is to ensure you will always get at least one piece of drop from enemies, including rare items and covenant items.

How is this different from the other two mods I mentioned?

In more than one way, actually. The previous mods I released worked on a simple concept, namely they just relied on boosting the drop rate chances through the Luck stat inside the CalcCorrectGraph param in Smithbox. That way of doing things had a simple, but nasty side  effect: upon killing an enemy you would have him drop everything in its loot pool, but while this worked for some enemies with smaller loot pools, some other enemies had  larger pools, like 7 or even 8 possible items. Thing is, Dark Souls III only allows to drop five items at the same time from the same enemy and this, especially in my  More Item Drops - Always drop something mod prevented from getting certain items (for instance, you wouldn’t get Sunlight Medals from the Lothric Knight in front of the  first Lothric Castle bonfire).

So with this mod in particular I took a different route, and now I can say it works as I originally intended. As of now, there are three distinct behaviors you may encounter

Enemieswith smaller loot pools: enemies that have 5 or less items, such as the Undead Clerics in the Cemetery of Ash or the first Hollow Soldier in High Walls of Lothric fall under this category:

They will always drop every single item in their possession upon killing, no matter what, with a fixed 100% chance.

Enemies with larger loot pools: these enemies have apool of 6 or more items they can yield, such as this one:

In this case, every single item have a 50% chance of dropping upondefeating said enemy, and the results may vary; you may kill it and only get two items dropped or  you can kill it and see 5 items dropped at the same time. This was unfortunately the only way I could manage this kind of pool, but from my extensive testing with the  first Lothric Castle bonfire (with a Faith/Luck quality build with 50/49 respectively) I was always able to get something dropped and after a whole evening of farming I  ended up with tens of armor pieces, swords, crossbows, embers and almost 200 sunlight medals.

Enemies with branching item drops: there are enemiesin the game, such as Pus of Man and Carthus Swordsmen, that have entries in the ItemLotParam that are dedicated to
