📋 About This Mod
(iGP11 needed)
Forget the painfully hard to see player health bars with this mod and make every health bar in the game look and feel the same.
Dark Souls 3 has a Demon's Souls inspired health bars for the player and bosses, Dark Souls 2 health bars for the enemies and Bloodborne lock-on. While it's safe to assume this is actually a genius meta detail by our Lord and Liege Miyazaki-san to provide the last bit of fan-service / homage and justify it with in-game #deeplore ("lands converge in Lothric"), I prefer being able to actually see how hard the laggy estoc damaged me and having a cohesive theme and design.
This mod sets a consistent design for all the health bars in the game (red health, white-ish "ash" depletion). The vanilla game has some jarring differences like different colors and saturation between player and enemy bars, self bars have barely any border but enemies have a noticeable border, etc. It's all gone with this.
Set iGP11 up if you haven't and simply put the two files inside the tex_override folder of iGP11. If you don't know how to install iGP11 look at this.
Health Bars 2.0 is a visual overhaul for health bars across all enemies, players, and bosses, offering a consistent and clearer design. With 187 endorsements and 3,649 downloads, it's a modestly popular cosmetic mod for players seeking better readability in combat.
