📋 About This Mod
Description:
Upscaled NPC portraits with ESRGAN models. Two options: Fatality or Rebout.
This was a quick test to see how to replace textures in Daggerfall Unity. I thought I would share in case somebody wants it for some reason.
Fatality - These looking really good on some NPCs and terrifying on others, because the proportions of faces are wonky. The model has to work with what its given.
Rebout - I think it is a good improvement without falling into scary-land.
Put this folder "CifRci" in your "DaggerfallUnity_Data\StreamingAssets\Textures\"
Bonus - If you don't like a particular portrait you can delete it from CifRci or replace it with another. All the images are PNG files so you can browse through them.
