Schools of Magic Spell Icons

The idea behind this pack was to make a complete spell icon overhaul for every spell in the game, as a way to clearly indicate what school each one belongs to. I wasn't able to get that working, so I decided to simply upload the icons I created as a regular spell icon pack. If anyone is willing to help me make this work for a future update, I'd really appreciate it.

So I designed these icons trying to match Daggerfall's art style, even applying its original color palette and taking inspiration from each school's description.

• []Illusion is represented with a glowing dust cloud, since it's the school of spells like Light and Invisibility, it felt fitting.

  []Destruction is a fireball, yeah.

  []Alteration is described as magic that alters matter, so I tried to paint a boiling splash of water rising upward. Maybe the result is a bit abstract, but I like it. Also, looks like a nice counterpart to Destruction, since Alteration has Shield and Elemental Resistances spells.

  []Mysticism's description reads "(...)The forces being manipulated by Mysticism are dangerous and unknown.", so I painted a ghostly hand trying to reach dark secrets, it also fits spells like Soul Trap or Open, as if you were summoning a magical hand.

  []Restoration uses an Ankh, just like temples use those. It's a symbol related to life and healing, fitting for this school.

  []Thaumaturgy was tough, since its spells don't fit into any category. That's probably why it was replaced by Conjuration in Morrowind. Two spells from this school are Detect and Identify, so I went with a glowing eye.

  Installation:

  Unzip the folder and put both "MagicSchools.png" and "MagicSchools.txt" inside DaggerfallUnity_Data\StreamingAssets\Spellicons
