📋 About This Mod
This mod is a framework which allows creators to add new races to Daggerfall.
As John Doom is no longer supporting the original Races Framework, I've taken up the mantle of maintaining the mod with help from the wonderful Lysandus' Tomb discord server. This version fixes the incompatibility with Races Redone and establishes a consistent name scheme for race files to prevent further conflicts.
I have FINALLY fixed the mod! It now should work in 0. 14. 5 and is confirmed to work in 0. 15. 2!
!IMPORTANT!
If you are a creator who wants to use this framework to add a new race, make sure your race data file has the extension .race.json, as that is how this framework determines what is and is not a race file!
I'm also uploading a new version of the Orc Race, without any changes, renamed to be compatible with this version of the framework.
I will be adding documentation on how to create a race file at a later date. For now, you can use the Orc Race Redone mod as a template.
Do not use this mod and the original Races Framework at the same time.

HOW TO USE THIS MOD:
1. Install this framework.
2. Install the Orc Race mod from this page. Do not use the old one, it will not work with this version!!!
3. When creating a new character, a new button will appear on the race selection screen; clicking it will allow you to choose from the races added by this framework.
4. Pick a race and begin playing!
