Overview

DaggerBlood enhances combat with damage driven blood effects, persistent pools, dripping ceilings, and brutal overkill explosions.

Higher damage results in more intense visual feedback.

Supports SD and HD textures. HD pairs especially well with DREAM.

The mod relies on Vanilla Combat Event Handler to react to hits. Combat overhauls that do not use it will most likely not function correctly.

  Requirements

    []Load order: Vanilla Combat Event Handler must be placed above DaggerBlood

    Any mod that changes combat behavior or damage calculations and does not rely on Vanilla Combat Event Handler will most likely not work with DaggerBlood.

        Fix for Physical Combat and Armor Overhaul

        Tested on Windows only. This will most likely not work on Android.

        • []Download Harmony Fat 2.x from the Harmony releases page and use the Harmony 2. 3. 5 package as reference

          []Extract it and open the net48 folder

          []Copy 0Harmony.dll into Daggerfall\StreamingAssets\Mods and overwrite if necessary

          []Launch the game and disable Vanilla Combat Event Handler, ignore the dependency warning

          []Ensure DaggerBlood loads after Physical Combat and Armor Overhaul

          Performance

          • []The maximum number of blood pools can be configured

          • Tested with more than 10,000 blood pools on RTX 4090 and i9 13900K without performance issues
