📋 About This Mod
This mod changes V's voice with a younger male's voice, entirely re-voiced without AI.
Installation Process
1. Locate Cyberpunk 2077 Mod Folder
2. Unpack winrar archive into the folder or drag & drop the files in the mod folder
If you actually need/want me to voice something, maybe one of your mods or other projects, you can contact me at kainkasuneva@gmail.com
While I like doing most of it for free, if it's something bigger, I will most likely ask for compensation.
Alternatively you can contact me on Discord with the name ''KainKasune'', be it for the same reason as mentioned before or for just a chat.
This mod prior was called "Young V" but after a few discussions and me just thinking about it, just making clear that it is a revoiced V might make it easier for people to look at it.
... Plus I found out there was a mod with a similar title that just pitches up V's voice which came out about 2 years earlier and I don't want to cause confusion via association.
KasuVO SFX is for grunts, groans, yelps, etc. Can be deleted without harm, but will result in original V's sounds returning.
This mod should work with any V's voice mods out there that use the base files and don't try to reshuffle and cut the lines.
I have no real experience in modding, therefore I cannot give any support for other mods. Other authors have my permission, if desired, to use this mod to make it compatible.
I do not consent my voice to be used with AI nor to train it.
I'm aware of the talk about Gavin Drea sounding different in PL which is probably due to the DLC having been made a few years later and thus the lines as well
But it made me read up on some of the writing of the DLC and the general direction the voice of V in that DLC should have had which was more of a 'tired' and 'exhausted' kind because the DLC plays a few weeks into V's transformation, I guess
With that in mind I tried to go for the same direction but not as heavy, so I recommend to keep that in mind when using this mod for the DLC
Gavin Drea's deliveries were also entirely my general direction for V's lines (thank you very much btw), because I had no subtitles to pull from or wouldn't know how, so my words are partially slurred in an attempt to make the words sound the same without knowing what the words even were... which was way more often in this DLC than the main game where Drea's original accent wasn't as present, which partially is also probably where my own ''accent'' for this mod kinda comes from because they somewhat mixed up with the slurred approach.
I'm writing this more or less for myself and for those who might be curious about it
The one liberty I 100% took for myself was NOT saying shitballs, awesomesauce or something like that. Saying these unironically makes my skin crawl, it feels unnatural to me and to the protagonist's prior writing.
