📋 About This Mod
This is a simple redscript mod that prevents TVs in the open world and interiors from playing audio + video.
It does not affect all TVs in the open world as some of them aren't strictly TVs but rather billboards. Its a lazy implementation that stops both video and audio (black screen) but it gets the job done - that is stop the constant, overlapping and loud gibberish. For whatever reason the game devs decided TVs are always max volume, they cannot be turned off, they are indestructible and people have two or more of them in the same room, tuned to different stations. Yes the future is a true dystopia.
Make sure you have the latest version of redscript installed, then extract the zip into your Cyberpunk 2077 install folder.
This should give you a new SilenceWorldTVs folder under (Cyberpunk 2077 install folder)\r6\scripts\
Delete the SilenceWorldTVs folder from under (Cyberpunk 2077 install folder)\r6\scripts\
