This mod introduces a new Arrest system to 2077.

How to Get Arrest

When you are at a low wanted level and get taken down by the NCPD or other regional law enforcement, you will be arrested and transported to prison instead of flatlining.

If V commits multiple crimes in a short period, the arrest mechanic will not be triggered. The NCPD will opt for lethal force and shoot to kill.

Additionally, Night City's prison, a piece of cut content from CDPR, has been fully restored. The facility is now populated with numerous NPCs and items to make it feel alive. In line with Cyberpunk's lore, the leader of the Valentinos is also serving time here. You can pay him a little visit.

Once you're behind bars, expect a €$5,000 "processing fee" to disappear from your account. It's for "paperwork," they say. Sure it is.And, choom: The NCPD keeps a record. The "processing fee" for your little trips to prison will stack. Each new arrest will cost you another €$5,000 on top of the last one. Getting caught is an expensive habit.

For the first minute (60s), your cyberware will be on lockdown, and the local badges will leave you be.

But don't get comfortable. The prison holds more than just cops. You'll be sharing a cell block with corp-sec agents who'd love nothing more than to flatline a merc. Keep a low profile, or you'll be their next target.

Of course, as a purely amateur modder, I have almost no experience in level design, and my ability to alter scenes is limited. On top of that, I've been dealing with some personal matters recently, so the mod might feel a bit rough around the edges. However, I am committed to continuously improving the prison's design in future updates.

  The searchlight materials in the prison are currently not rendering correctly, which significantly impacts the atmosphere. I have tried to fix this multiple times but haven't yet figured out the cause.

  P. S. I'm new to modding, furthermore, this mod is too difficult for me, a non-programmer without tools like Redkit.
