📋 About This Mod

The official reshade of Tales of Night City.

This is the official reshade of Tales of Night City, a mod collection with 1000+ mods, for game version 2. 31a, that I've been working on since 2. 12a.

This reshade is created with Nova LUT 3 in mind, however it is not a requirement. Do note however, that the collection is using several visual mods to achieve these types of visuals. If you plan on using it outside of the collection, your experience may vary quite a bit.

You need Reshade 6. 6. 2+

You need the "XRF_LUT3.png" from the "reshade-shaders/Textures/" folder -- without this LUT, it won't look even close; what this is, is a hyper optimized LUT I've been working on since I've made my original reshade for Baldur's Gate 3 back on it's release; it's essentially doubling as a reshade preset on it's own.

The archive only contains the preset as well as the LUT file, place "XRF ToNC.ini" and "reshade-shaders" folder into the following folder structure:

"Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\" -- I'm on GoG, but I expect Steam version to be similar, just make sure it's in "\bin\x64\"; this is also where your .exe is located for the Reshade installation, which you will have to do prior to booting your game. You can install all shaders or select "XRF ToNC.ini" during install and it will only install those specific shaders, the choices is yours.

Depending on your screen's contrast, gamma, brightness, peak whites and black levels, you might have to do some adjustments on your own. Please make sure you calibrate your in-game gamma after applying the reshade. In-game, ideally you'd only have to touch HDR power, but again, it's very much depending on your screen's calibration and capabilities as well.

In-game instructions:

Turn off reshade initially, start a save, turn on reshade and follow bellow instructions and let it calibrate for a couple of seconds.

RT_Correct_Constrast.fx -> Freeze Correction (tick off then back on, it can cause issues if it's on from the start); alternatively you can leave Freeze Correction off, but it'll constantly re-calibrate.

This reshade preset was created on the following system specifications:

RTX4070 12GB GPU

Intel i7-13700F CPU

32GB DDR5 RAM
