📋 About This Mod
Proximity-based interaction on any nearby device. Netrunning should do mundane things on mundane objects -- turn on TVs, open doors, select elevator floors, turn off radios and more, all from a distance *without* visibility
What is this, Train Simulator?
Do I really have to walk up to elevators and physically press a button with my reticle over it? I'm not allowed to open electronic doors from 20ft away? Why can't I turn off radios from a distance? And why do I have to sit on a couch just to turn a TV on or off in my apartment?
Am I a superstar netrunner or am I not? Because I don't feel like one if I'm constantly walking all the way over to these electronic devices and pressing buttons all the time like some chromeless normie chump. There shouldn't be such a heavy divide between what we can and cannot interact with remotely, and quickhacks shouldn't be so biased towards combat only.
Netrunning should do mundane things on mundane devices too.

Getting Started:
First, download mod and all dependencies.
Then after launching game:
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Toggle you set above is a greedy key. It doesn't play well with others -- so you can't open/close the menu while having any other keys pressed like while running forward holding W. I can't get it to work well. In order to be lightweight and unintrusive, it needs to be pressed independently, like pausing for a moment to stand still and opening the menu then returning to movement. You can navigate the menu and use the menu while moving or doing anything else, but you cannot specifically open/close through the Toggle key above.
Menu Appearance
Skins
Skins are optional files that can be installed as standalone patch mods to change the menu appearance while not affecting any of it's functionality. In MO2 these should be above the core mod file:
Position
Position can be adjusted in real-time. Use the "crosshair" option in Mod Settings to enable a persistent top-left widget that designates the menu's position on screen. This widget is permanently visible regardless of whether menu is opened or closed whenever the Mod Settings toggle is checked on.
Most aspects of the menu are configurable through settings. This includes:
