Overview

While exploring Night City, you may be ambushed from behind by hostile gang members who will attempt to rob you and then flee. Stay alert and watch your surroundings — if you manage to take down the attacker before they escape, you’ll recover your stolen items!

Version 1. 0:

• []Delayed recovery: if a thief steals from you and runs, the mod now remembers what was taken. You can recover stolen money and items by tracking down and defeating members of the same gang — recovery has a window and a chance that slowly decays, so there’s tension and a reason to pursue them.[/]

  []Fine-grained theft options: new settings let you control exactly what can be stolen (junk, grenades/gadgets, quickhacks, weapon/clothing mods, collectible shards). Defaults are conservative, so nothing dangerous is removed unless you enable it.[/]

  []Knockdown feels fairer: being hit by a stalker now scales with how wounded you are and your level, so knockdowns are more predictable and less arbitrary.[/]

  []Smarter spawning & safety: thieves avoid spawning where they’d be obvious or unfair (in your view, on roofs, in elevators. The system also avoids spawning while you’re in menus or Photo Mode.[/]

  Added Night Spawn Bonus setting: Allows configuring additional spawn chance during night hours.

  Added configurable thief spawn distances: Regular thief min/max distance settings now configurable via mod settings.

  Fixed a bug that caused thieves to spawn despite having a zero spawn chance.

  New Options:

  Street Cred Loss on Robbery - New setting that reduces player's Street Cred when robbed.

  Enable Street Cred Bonus (reduces spawn chance with higher SC).

  Spawn Reduction Per SC - configurable reduction per level.

  Enable Street Cred Boost - alternative mode where higher SC increases spawn chance.

  Spawn Boost Per SC Level - configurable boost per level.

  1. Pickpocket System

  Added a brand-new Pickpocket system as an alternative to regular robbery events.

  Enable Pickpockets – Toggle pickpocket events on/off.

  Pickpocket Min/Max Money % – Set the percentage of money that can be stolen.

  Pickpocket Chance (%) – Set the probability of a pickpocket event instead of a regular robbery.

  Pickpocket enemies remain neutral and do not attack — they steal money and flee.
