📋 About This Mod

The original toes of VTK feet (from VTK Resources or any VTK-based body) looked a bit odd, this mod made some edits to them. In almost all mod environments, there should be three types of feet, corresponding to different lift heights: flat, lifted, and high. Initially, I only intended to edit the "high" feet, which is suitable for high heels and is also the strangest-looking one (just my personal opinion). The result was pretty good (at least it meets my personal preference). Now I've moved on to editing the remaining two types of feet.

In earlier versions (2. 0 and earlier), this mod directly replaced the original VTK mesh. Now, the mod is provided as an equippable item, meaning you need to use CET code to obtain it, and equip it in the inventory. (Fortunately, there is now a CET script that can quietly automate this process in the background.) Otherwise, it won't have any effect to the character. A key reason for this change is to maintain compatibility with other body mods; I don't need to directly edit every body mesh, which would be a huge workload and make mod permission issues. Another advantage of this way is that when you equip stockings designed for the original feet mesh, you can unequip and switch the feet meshes directly in-game.

This mod uses some methods I learned from other mods (if you want details, they are custom tags, which often appear in mods from NotMayoSan and ScorpionTank) to allow the equipped feet to remain partially hidden like the original body meshes. Therefore, this mod shouldn't cause clipping issues when equipping boots or leggings that don't show the legs. This means It can also react to Hide Body Parts. At the same time, it can automatically switch between different types of feet depending on the shoes. I have done my best to reduce the frequency of equipping and unequipping.

This mod is based on the original VTK feet, so it works with VTK-based bodies such as Angel, EBB, etc. I uploaded several screenshots to compare the differences between the modified version and the original version.

CET code (There won't be an atelier made for this.)

Game. AddToInventory("Items.vtk_fine_feet")

You can use this code to obtain the item, or you can download the CET script to automatically obtain & equip the feet. I don't know much about the Lua language or CET scripts, so many of the features were created with the help of AI. But don't worry, I've carefully checked and tested it, and it should work as intended. I also tried to create a CET configuration interface where you can freely choose which slot the item uses and toggle the auto-equip function (by default, it runs once when you load the game, fast travel, and close the menu, so it shouldn't significantly impact performance).

1. The feet meshes have been edited, any nail art or stockings designed for the original mesh are very likely to clip through. Please consider carefully
