Vending Machine Replacer (All)

This is not an upscale (not happy with the quality) but a full redo so all images are clean and clear. There are also design improvements and added graphics for some of the vending machines.

Example pictures posted but they don't do the 2k detail justice as Nexus only accepts 1920x1080 images.

I highly encourage new and old users to use the 2K version. The difference is HUGE!!! No noticeable FPS hit as far as i can tell

This is a standlone companion mod to my Lore Friendly Advert Replacer. It uses the same individual file library approach to give you maximum flexibility to pick n' mix what you want to replace. You are not stuck with an all or nothing mod. Where the Advert Replacer lets you pick from 87 ads, the Vending Machine Replacer lets you pick and change one or all of the 9 types of vending machines in the game.

In Cyberpunk there are 8 types of vending machines (plus 4 uniques with a single display option). All of these have been replaced in this mod. (There is ninth file, but I don't think that machine is still in the game.)

Each vending machine can show 5-9 different products for a total of 56 possible displays. BUT all machines only draw from a total of 13 unique products so in effect you are only getting 13 different displays in the game plus the 4 uniques. This means there is a lot of visual repetition when you cruise around Night City. I think there is a missed opportunity here, so my Vending Machine Replacer uses 56 unique products not 13, so there is ZERO REPETITION and therefore a lot more variety.

The other area I think there is a missed opportunity is that vending machines can do so much more than only sell food product. So, with this mod, you will see a Claw Machine, Bank Machine, etc. You can buy Refurbished Helmets, Condoms, Posters, etc - at least visually if not functionally. There is even a weather forecast. This gives the game more variety in my mind. You may feel differently, but that is the beauty of pick n' mix - only use the ones you want.

I have provided as many in-game images as I found, but there is also a full set of images for each of the 9 machine types. And just for fun there are a few images of the Lore Friendly Advert Replacer if you haven't seen it yet.

There is an optional Video Game Theme Pack for Machine Type I. I hope to make more addons in the future, so more choice.
