📋 About This Mod
------------------------
Talk to Me!
------------------------
This mod makes NPCs chat to the player as they walk past, or whenever standing nearby. The effect is subtle but should help to make the world feel a bit more alive.
---------------
Config
---------------
You can adjust the field of view of NPCs by editing the included config file. A lower value means you'll need to be right in front of them to trigger dialogue. A higher value makes crowds much more talkative, but a bit less realistic (i.e. characters might address you while you're behind them).
(This setting only affects character behaviour for the ambient dialogue introduced by the mod, and won't alter their FOV for any other gameplay e.g. combat, stealth) - don't worry!
Installation:
This mod requires Redscript to work. Make sure it is installed first.
Next, extract the contents of TalkToMe.zip into your Cyberpunk2077 directory.
You can tweak the mod's settings by editing the TalkToMeConfig file using a text editor (e.g. Notepad).
Credits:
This mod is possible thanks to Redscript and the CP 2077 source.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust: 5,447 endorsements and 556k downloads show it's a proven favorite
- Simple concept that directly tackles a common immersion killer—silent crowds
- Last updated June 2026, so it's actively maintained
⚠️ Cons
- May cause dialogue overlap or interruptions if you're already in conversation
- Could feel repetitive if the same lines trigger too often
For Skyrim players who want bustling cities and towns to feel alive without adding heavy scripted quests. If you're tired of NPCs staring blankly as you pass, this is for you. Skip if you prefer total silence or don't care about ambient chatter.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Pair with a mod that adds more NPCs to really see the effect in crowded areas like Whiterun
- If you use a dialogue overhaul, test for conflicts early—this mod adds new lines that might clash
- Adjust your game's audio settings if ambient chatter feels too loud or too quiet
