Silver Pixel Cloud Drive-in Gates Game Bug Patch

The Silver Pixel Cloud Drive-in gates are supposed to open after completing the Blistering Love (Rogue date) quest.

However, due to a long-standing bug in the game, they may remain shut forever.

The bug affects the quest that controls the gates, causing it to stop prematurely if you move too far away before six in-game hours have passed since completing the Rogue date. Once stopped, the quest never restarts.

Since staying in place for that long is not something most players would ever do, the gates usually end up locked for the rest of the game.

Additionally, with some vehicle-related activity taking place in the theatre area, having the gates shut results in absurd, immersion-breaking scenes.

This mod opens the gates as intended by the game’s design if the native quest fails.

It works exactly the same way the game does, making it fully compatible with game mechanics, quests, and the game's world design, regardless of the game version.

How it works:

Once installed, it checks the quest conditions in the currently loaded game, and if necessary, it opens the gates on a game load, when entering a vehicle, or after completing Fast Travel events.

Mandatory Requirements:

Cyber Engine Tweaks - as it's needed to run the mod's code.

Codeware 1. 6 or higher (and its dependencies) - as it's needed to unlock the gates.

If the requirements are missing, this mod will not activate.

Game support:

Designed to run on game versions 2. 02 or higher (due to the Codeware dependency)

Developed and tested on game versions 2. 21 - 2. 31.

Not tested against previous game versions.

The mod follows the game design and relies heavily on the game mechanics, built-in UI fundamentals and the game world design.

If you use it with mods that change the game's fundamentals, the results may vary and depend solely on the quality of the other mods.

If you use mods that change the game design, circumvent the game methods to make it behave differently, or disrespect shared resource usage rules, and you find the final results unacceptable or falling short of expectations, there is nothing I can do about it, as game compatibility is affected by the other mods.
