Respect Stance While Hacking

Respect Stance While Hacking is a simple mod that allows players to maintain their chosen stance when hacking cameras, turrets, and other networked devices. By default, the game forces a crouch stance whenever you enter camera or device control mode. This mod eliminates that behavior—if you're standing when you initiate a hack, you'll remain standing throughout the hack. If you're already crouched, the standard behavior applies.

The mod preserves all vanilla functionality while making this change: your device control input context, zoom, weapon unequip, UI hiding, phone blocking, and perk bonuses all continue to work normally. The camera mask visual effects and audio remains intact as well. This mod patches the player's first person perspective entities. Be on the look out for incompatibilities if other mods you use also patch those entities, specifically the "camera_mask" effect.

The model used for the standing stance has no head; it's just the gameplay model. If you remove the glitching effect, it will make the mod look broken. Future versions might patch that if I find a way around the PSM.
