📋 About This Mod

Disables the glitching VFX of the Quantum Tuner that occur when using it in conjunction with certain other cyberware.

A relatively simple mod to remove the red "glitching" VFX caused by the Quantum Tuner (pictured in the photos above) that occurs when you kill an enemy, specifically when using some other piece of cyberware that reduces cooldowns on a kill like the Newton Module/Axolotl. The effect seems to occur because the Time Bank is being "used" in conjunction with the Axolotl on every kill, meaning you get this repeated red glitching effect a lot during fights. With this mod, the effect disappears entirely and your screen remains clear when you kill an enemy using this combination of cyberware.

This mod has no dependencies, and shouldn't have any conflicts with any other mods as long as they aren't modifying the "p_time_bank.effect" file, because all this mod actually does is replace that file with a blank effect. This is fully compatible with Patch. 201 and should remain compatible with all future patches unless CDPR changes the name of this file or where it goes in the directory (or screws with the actual cyberware itself), so you shouldn't have to worry regarding any ongoing updates.

Just a small note: Because this mod replaces the VFX file with a blank one, that means this effect will never show up. I don't really see a reason why you would want it to anyway, but in case you do, here's your warning.

Installation: Pretty standard, just drag the file into your archive > pc > mod folder in the game's directory, and remove the file if you want to uninstall it.
