📋 About This Mod
Description
This mod is comparable in function to Ping Tags Enemies from CactusPi3 but ported from redscript to Cyber Engine Tweaks with a slightly expanded feature set.
Normally, when you use the ping quickhack the game allows you to tag all revealed enemies through walls. The problem is, that this feature doesn't work very well, and as a result your tagging attempts are often ignored or you end up tagging other objects instead. The access points are also revealed, however, they are a bit difficult to spot among all the other cluttter that appears along with them.
To alleviate this, this mod will automatically tag all revealed enemies and other devices.
Customization
The type of entities which will be tagged (NPCs, access points, cameras, etc.) and all additional features/options can be customized.
To configure, use the CET overlay or access mod category in the games menu when using Native Settings UI.
Keybinds need to be configured in the CET bindings menu, as supporting bindings in Native Settings UI would require additional dependencies which I want to keep minimal.
Requirements

Known issues
There are some very minor issues, however they don't really interfere with normal gameplay and can be worked around.
[]When you ping an enemy and then untag them immedaitely, in some cases there might be a bit of delay before ping can tag them again. It doesn't always happen, but if it does, you just need to wait a bit.
[]Some cameras will be tagged just by hovering over them in scanning mode. This cannot be worked around, as the game doesn't specify whether the camera was revealed by ping or by scanning. You can hack the camera and turn it off to permanently untag it (turned off cameras are not tagged by default) or disable camera tagging in options
[]Hackable computers can sometimes be tagged automatically in focus mode when they are connected to a revealed camera. Similarly to cameras, you can either hack them or disable computer tagging in options
[]In areas with a lot of enemies some may not be revealed by ping in the first place, and therefo

For Cyberpunk 2077 players who rely on the Ping quickhack for recon and hate manually tagging every enemy. Perfect for stealth builds and netrunners who want smoother gameplay. Skip if you prefer a more hands-on approach or don't use quickhacks.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure Cyber Engine Tweaks is installed and up to date before adding this mod – it won't work without it.
- After installing, load your save and test Ping on a group of enemies to confirm the auto-tagging works.
- If you're using other CET mods, check for conflicts in the CET mods folder – this one is lightweight but always good to verify.
