📋 About This Mod
Step 1.
Look at your apartment door and press hotkey (default F1). Your apartment will be given a name (by color) and will be registered in the rent system. You can register multiple apartments this way.
Step 2.
Go to Mods and set rent for apartment(s) you registered in Step 1.
Step 3.
Check your phone for the contact "Happy Tenant" for overview of your rented apartments and other info. Contact is visible only if you have rented an apartment (or a shed or whatever with an entrance door). Payment is processed automatically. You don't need to do anything. Priority goes from top to bottom. If you don't have enough funds, you get instantly evicted, meaning the door to the apartment gets locked forever. You can "unevict" yourself by going to settings and removing the apartment. Keep in mind, that light above door changes upon loading a save or reacting with the door if unlocked, however, the lock reacts instantly.
Other Features
-
[]Additional hotkey for locking/unlocking any door in the game. Use it to temporarily lock your open custom apartments before you rent them so you are not tempted to stay there rent free. Or use it to rent locations locked out by the quests.[/]
[]Hardcore addon: you can only save in your rented and paid for apartment(s) while looking at closed door (interaction "Open" visible). Saving gets disabled within 5 seconds of leaving. Flashbacks excluded. Combine with death alternative mods for maximum adrenaline. Something for my hardcore people.[/]
[]Rent reminder.[/]
[]Apartments showing their district and subdistrict.[/]
[]Extremely lightweight. Works on anything, vanilla apartments included.[/]
[]Performance friendly (no vibe coding).[/]
[]Safe to install/uninstall anytime. Just unregister the apartments first from the mod settings![/]
Translation
