📋 About This Mod
Omni-Combat is a movement overhaul that splices together Omni Movement, Gung Ho QoL, and some fresh Mod Settings sliders into one package.
Instead of being locked into the vanilla sprint logic, you can now mess with forward, side, and backward speed boosts, toggle whether sprint should reset on stop, and (when it’s fully working) apply penalties for certain movements or while aiming.
It’s all about giving you more control over how V moves when the lead starts flying.
What’s working right now
-
[]✅ Sprint toggle works correctly.
[
]✅ Omni Movement speed boost system is in and functional.[]✅ You can experiment with forward/side/backward speed sliders to tune the feel exactly how you want.
[]✅ Base Gung Ho system is in (keeps sprint animations during combat).
What’s bugged or not working (yet)
-
[]❌ Penalty sliders (side, back, and aiming penalties) are currently not applying correctly.
[
]❌ Gung Ho toggle (turning it off) doesn’t fully disable its effects yet.
Why use it?
-
[]Vanilla sprinting feels stiff. Omni-Combat loosens it up.
[
]Want to zip around like a chrome ninja? Crank those sliders.[]Want a more grounded, tactical feel? Dial the boosts down and (eventually) stack on penalties.
[]Basically, it’s movement your way.
Mod Requirements
Make sure you’ve got these installed and up to date, or you’ll just get REDscript compile errors:
-
[]RED4ext
[
]Mod Settings[]ArchiveXL
[]redscript
Possible Incompatibilities
-
[]Other mods that overwrite SprintDecisions or SprintEvents may clash (since those methods are being wrapped here).
[
]Standalone “Omni Movement” or “Gung Ho” mods are redundant — this mod already rolls their features in.[]Mods that alter sprint animation logic or custom stat multipliers might behave oddly when stacked.
Notes for players
-
[]Right now, treat this as an experimental baseline. The boosts work — the penalties are still WIP.
[]Don’t be afraid to push the sliders around. Some values might feel ridiculous, others might click perfectly for your playstyle.
[]This mod is in active development. Expect updates, fixes, and new features (like proper Gung Ho toggle handling, smarter penalty math, and maybe even advanced animation tweaks).
Planned features
[]Fix penalty sliders so they apply correctly in combat.
[]Make Gung Ho toggle work on-the-fly without needing a reload.
[*]Cleaner stat modifier handling to reduce edge-case bugs
Omni Combat is a movement overhaul for Cyberpunk 2077 that enhances running, gunning, and sliding to feel more fluid and customizable. It's for players who want smoother, more dynamic combat movement. With 123 endorsements and recent updates, it's a niche but actively maintained gameplay mod.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Recent update (Sept 2025) means it's actively maintained.
- Solid community support with 123 endorsements.
- Focuses on fluidity—a common pain point in Cyberpunk's combat.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 123 endorsements—still a niche mod, might have rough edges.
- Movement overhauls can conflict with other gameplay mods—check compatibility.
For Cyberpunk 2077 players who feel the default movement is clunky and want a more fluid, action-hero feel. If you're into combat mods and want to slide and gun like a pro, this is for you. Skip if you're happy with vanilla movement or prefer realism over arcade-style mobility.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a movement overhaul, test it in a safe area first to get used to the new slide and sprint mechanics.
- Check if you have other movement or combat mods installed—they might conflict, so load order matters.
- If you're on PC, make sure your game is updated to the latest patch to avoid compatibility issues.
