📋 About This Mod
Lightweight ReShade preset that improves visual clarity when using Path Tracing and upscaling. It restores fine detail lost during upscaling while preserving the game’s original color grading. Fully compatible with LUT and environment mods.
Important Information
This preset has been designed only with SDR in mind. If you're playing the game in HDR then please go and check out CreepySasquatch's Creepy Ultra HDR - ReShade Presets.
Installation Instructions
-
[]Download the preset file from this mod page.[/]
[]Download and install ReShade: https://reshade.me/#download[/]
[]During the ReShade installation select the VanStorm-Night_City-Ultra_Clarity-VP.ini preset at the bottom of the installer window to automatically install all needed effects for both presets.[/]
[]Finish the installation and copy the VanStorm-Night_City-Ultra_Clarity.ini into Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64 as well because that is the preset meant for gameplay.[/]
[]Launch Cyberpunk 2077, open ReShade, select the non VP preset and enjoy the game with more visual clarity.[/]

Performance
Night City Ultra Clarity is designed to be lightweight shader stack (sub 1 ms processing time) and has a negligible performance impact even when running demanding rendering modes such as Path Tracing.
Compatibility
This preset does not modify the game's color grading which makes it compatible with most visual mods.
In my personal setup I primarily tested it with the following mods and collection in mind:
-
[]Project Ultrapunk Collection[/]
[]Cyberpunk Ultra Plus[/]
[]Nova City 2[/]
[]Nova LUT 4[/]
[]ReLUX[/]
The preset was mainly tested with Path Tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction but should work with other upscaling modes as well.
Notes
-
[]If you don't encounter any banding issues or are just not a fan of deband, simply disable the effect it.[/]
[]All screenshots have been made with the Project Ultrapunk collection installed, and Ultra Plus set to PTNextV3 - Insane.[/]
[]The preset was only tested in SDR.[/]
