Night City Allies - Immersive Companion System

1. Install all requirements *Top of the page

2. Extract mod contents into your game folder (eg. "Steam Games\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077") or use a mod loader like Vortex

3. (Optional) Install addons Check mods using this mod section!

Tested with Version 2. 31 and with Phantom Liberty DLC (But the DLC shouldn't be necessary for this mod)

Manual Update

1. Check the news, if the current update requires any files to be deleted it will be noted there.

2. Follow these steps:

DELETE folder:

<game>\r6\scripts\NightCityAllies 

Keep the characters and modules folder so you don't have to reinstall characters:

<game>\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\NightCityAllies\Characters

<game>\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\NightCityAllies\Modules

DELETE everything except Characters and Modules folder inside:

<game>\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\NightCityAllies\

Now you can safely install the new version

If there is still issues try deleting this folder then verifying your game files: <game>\r6\cache

Mod Compatibility

Check if you have any of these if you run into issues

- Mods that manipulate NPC behaviors will work on NCA companions. Some issues have been reported with mods like Call For Backup or They Will Remember

- The Rita Wheeler Romanced mod will cause Rita Wheeler to crash the game when despawning her

- Let There Be Flight despawns companions when you enter a car (but is other than that compatible)

- Nightly Now seems to cause issues together with NCA for some people. Will look into it
