NCGT - A Driving Simulation

NCGT

is a Gran Turismo-inspired, simulation-focused overhaul of vehicle handling, tires, terrain, and weather—built as an all-in-one alternative to stacking multiple driving mods.

Vehicles feel stable and readable during normal driving, communicate their limits more clearly, and become harder to recover when pushed too far. NCGT preserves each vehicle’s original mass, suspension, inertia, drivetrain, and general character rather than forcing every car into the same handling profile.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

NCGT is a standalone driving simulation system. It is not an add-on for other physics, handling, traction, or vehicle-shop mods.

NCGT was designed to operate independently and will remain focused on its intended driving experience—not individual mod lists or personal preferences.

INTENDED DRIVING EXPERIENCE

Every vehicle has a limit. NCGT makes that limit readable—and makes crossing it matter.

Below the limit: planted, predictable, and controllable.

At the limit: tire grip, weight transfer, and drivetrain balance begin to reveal the vehicle’s true character.

Beyond the limit: the car will not automatically rescue the slide. Recovery depends on throttle control, braking, steering, and timing.

DRIVETRAIN CHARACTER

FWD — Stable and momentum-focused.

The front tires must handle both steering and power delivery. Push too hard and the car will begin to run wide, rewarding clean corner entry and disciplined throttle use.

RWD — Responsive and throttle-sensitive.

Power is delivered through the rear wheels, allowing greater rotation and more control over the car’s attitude. Too much throttle at the wrong moment can quickly overwhelm rear grip.

AWD — Planted, fast, and deceptively demanding.

Power across both axles provides stronger traction and corner-exit acceleration, but AWD does not make the vehicle invincible. Enter too quickly or overload the tires, and the car can still push wide or break traction.

NCGT does not force every drivetrain into the same handling profile. FWD rewards precision, RWD rewards throttle discipline, and AWD rewards commitment without eliminating consequences.

Drifting remains possible, but it must be created and sustained by the driver through power, braking, handbrake input, or deliberate weight transfer. NCGT does not simply remove rear grip to make every vehicle slide.
