Cyberpunk 2077 Vehicle Handling Fix for Controllers

Most vehicle handling fix mods out there for Cyberpunk 2077 is only for those who play with their keyboards. But for those of us that play with controllers, we are left to suffer a crushing defeat while driving our cars in Cyberpunk 2077.

For some reason, the vehicle handling sensitivity for controllers in Cyberpunk is ridiculous, just a slight touch of your left analog stick while driving can make you endlessly lose control and spin around as if you're at a burnout show, even if you put your vehicle handling sensitivity at 1 in the pause menu. But this comes to an end today with this quick fix that uses Xinput Plus to switch between 2 configs which I will provide.

The first config "XinputPlus.ini" keeps all your buttons normal, which you can use to walk around, do your gun fights etc.

The second config "XinputPlus 2.ini" I have swapped the Dpad and Left Analog stick with each other, you will use this one for driving your sweet rides in Cyberpunk 2077.

Instructions:

- Download Xinput Plus from here for free

- Extract the folder in the downloaded Xinput Plus archive to your desktop

- Download my files and extract them somewhere, preferably to where your Cyberpunk2077.exe is located.

- Run XinputPlus.exe in the extracted folder

- At the top it says "Target Program" with a box below it, click on the "Select" next to the box.

- Navigate to your Cyberpunk2077.exe (For me it was in D:\Games\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64) and select it.

- Go to the burger menu at the top right corner, click it and select "Load setting from file"

- Now select the "XinputPlus.ini" file which you downloaded from my upload

- Now go to the "Buttons" tab first, then the "Switch Settings" tab which appears below the Buttons tab

- Go to the 2nd "Setting 2" section (for some reason there's 2 "Setting 2", select the last one at the bottom cause for some reason the one in the middle doesn't work)

- Click on Select, now navigate to where you put the "XinputPlus 2.ini" which you downloaded from my upload and select it

- Here you can also select which button combinations you wish to use to switch between the 2 Config files I provided (I used "DPad Up + Y" to use config 1/XinputPlus.ini, and "DPad Down + Y" to use config 2/XinputPlus 2.ini). You have to press these button combos during gameplay to switch between the configs.

• Now click on the Setting tab, then the Dll Files tab which appears below it, make sure to click on all the XInput files you see there (XInput9_1_0, 1_1, 1_2, 1_3 and 1_4). They should already be selected, but in case it's not selected, just select them all.
