I have always hated the texture-work on the crosswalks, it was flat, boring and very muddy.
So I quickly opened up Wolvenkit and bashed together a replacement texture file, increased it's size by 8 times (from 512px to 4096px), and added a digital screen overlay effect so the texture doesn't seem so flat and uninteresting.
Two versions:
Normal: Same style as the base game, with added texture details and animation.
Emissive: Adds a glow to the texture that emits light, like you would expect from a digital screen.
4K, 2K and 1K resolutions available.
To install, pick only one of the main files, and just extract the zip into your CyberPunk 2077 install directory.
Current Issues:
- There is a subtle texture seam visible in the centre of crosswalks, that no matter what I do in Wolvenkit, will not go away. I have a feeling its an actual mesh problem that is being extra-highlighted by the added resolution and emissive textures. I will try and figure out how to eliminate it, if anyone has any knowledge to share, it would be appreciated
