Incoherent Rambling

So this Jake Estevez dude is supposed to be un très répugnant savant, right? (That's french for a very repugnant savant.) Then why does he think somebody's going to set him up for life for a rundown, rusty Colby Butte that looks like somebody drove it through a pigsty? And what about 6th street? I mean they're wackos, but they're not necessarily stupid, right? Ok, there was this one dude who bet his rifle, got his ass handed to him and then thought it'd be a great idea to get himself and his buddies killed to save face. Oh, these party people at the dam weren't the sharpest bulbs either. They did bleed red, though. And some bled white. Didn't see any blue. Anyway. Jake's car is still a disgrace by any meaningful definition. If it's meant to be oh so special that it makes sense to pay a solo thousands of eddies to retrieve it instead of just buying another one for threefiddy, it should look the part too. And also handle like it.

What This Is

Jake's car from Padre's gig "Life's Work" but it looks better and handles better as well. Also I gave the Colby "Gran Butte" the same treatment, but in a different color. Also if you're thinking that I enjoy thinking and writing "Butte" all the time and that "Gran Butte" is enough to make me giggle, then you are absolutely right. Oh, and if you think I'm wrong and Jake's car is now totally ugly or I should put a huge dildo on top to make it look like an adult wiener mobile, then yes, I like totally want to hear everything about it in the comments. That was sarcasm.

Special thanks to yellingintothevoid for helping me out with the steering wheel UI and positioning the thing relative to the ground with smaller wheels aka making the tires still touch the ground.

VISUALS

Most obviously I reverted the jacked up look of the basegame Colby Butte and gave it different rims and tires to turn it into a street car. I also removed all the accessories on the bumpers and roof. The interior is from the Nomad version of the Butte. Finally I cleaned the thing up, removed the rust and gave it dark green metallic paintjob - matte dark grey for the "Gran Butte". The wheels are a bit large for my taste, but it's impossible to edit their diameter without affecting all the other Buttes (gigglechortle) as well.

HANDLING/TUNING

Lots of changes here. More grip, much, much better steering and a much more powerful engine setup. Personally I think it's day and night. Is it enough to turn it into a car that would set somebody up for life? Maybe not. It's somewhat comparable to the Porsche 911, with maybe just a little bit more top speed. It felt wrong to make it any more powerful, though.
