Here's Brendan

Basics:

Adds a small/basic quest, "Brendan's Death Song", that follows on from Coin Operated Boy, that ends with Brendan being installed in the H10 apartment!

What happens after he's in V's apartment?

He can greet V!

He can tell some jokes!

He can occasionally give out a free drink item!

V can also say good bye 'manually' to dismiss the choices without the above.

He goes silent during partner dates in H10, but does have a small change of appearance when the partner is there...

What does 'Brendan's Death Song' involve?

After a number of text messages, which get increasingly odd, V goes to the apparent source of the messages.

Once there, V has to locate the SCSM that seems to have sent the last messages; it's Brendan!?

Pay a couple of nearby workers (€$5000) to help you move him.

Several hours later and you're back in V's H10 apartment with your new choom!

What about the apartment customization/recolors?

The mod is compatible with all the (base game) changes that V can make to the coloring of the apartment.

Quest specifics:

• []6 hours after installing/activating the first message is sent from SoftSys (Advert 1)[/]

  []18 hours after that AND after Coin Operated Boy is completed the second message is sent (Advert 2)[/]

  []18 hours again the third message is sent (Advert 3: Some oddities in it)[/]

  []18 hours again and the fourth message is sent (Advert 4: Very odd message)[/]

  []Quest step 2: Go to the location mentioned (It's in The Glen, near to where you last saw Brendan)[/]

  []Quest step 3: Find the message source (It's Brendan? On his side in a container)[/]

  []Quest step 4: Scan him (the scan includes some backstory/flavor text)[/]

  []Quest step 5: Ask/pay some local works for help (5000eddies)[/]

  Installation:

  Unzip the main zip into "Cyberpunk 2077" folder so that the .archive and .archive.xl files end up in the "Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod" folder

  The 'HeresBrendan' folder and contents will then be in the "Cyberpunk 2077\r6\tweaks" folder

  Resetting to troubleshoot/debug/fix issues:

  You can use the Deceptious Quest Core Utilities and Settings to 'reset' the mod, with a button in its Native Settings UI menu, this will stop the mod and then you can reactivate it by revisiting the H10 apartment as if it was a new install

  How to "activate" the mod?

  Visit V's starting apartment, in H10. You only need to do this once to 'activate' the mod.
