Headlamp - ArchiveXL (fem V)

this is a modified port of an in-game item. the beam of the flashlight follows where V is looking correctly when holding a weapon. when the weapon is holstered, the flashlight only goes left to right, not up and down and moves off to the side when crouching. it also bobs side to side when walking and moves into the screen corner when walking side to side. there is no way to turn off the light beam, except by unequipping the headlamp.

apart from this, it is fully functional and quite fun to use during normal gameplay.

as of version 2. 0 of the mod, the Headlamp beam can be toggled during gameplay by using Interactive Accessories by ripperdoc. for this to work, add the Headlamp (Lightbeam) item to your inventory and equip the Headlamp (Base) in Equipment-EX. then, during gameplay, press the Y key on your keyboard to activate the lightbeam.

Y is the default keybind and can be changed in the settings of Interactive Accessories.

as an alternative, you can use the Headlamp (Base) as a purely cosmetic item, without its lightbeam functionality. if you combine the Headlamp with True Flashlight by ApoKrytia, you can simulate an immersive, fully functional, and toggleable flashlight with the additional gameplay benefits that True Flashlight brings.

if you're looking for another flashlight without additional gameplay features, i'd recommend Simple Flashlight by NexusGuy999.

installation:

install via Vortex or unpack the .zip files and copy its contents to the root folder of your Cyberpunk 2077 installation. this should add the .archive and the .xl files to .\archive\pc\mod and the .yaml files to .\r6\tweaks.
