      • []Do these new colors work with modded hairstyles?

      Yes, if they are added to the character creator as a new hairstyle option with dynamic materials. These will usually have "CCXL" in the title. 

      Generally no if they replace an existing hairstyle. These are typically pre-2025 hairstyle mods. They can work (and some do), but it will depend entirely on how the replacement has been implemented. It needs to replace a hairstyle with the same chunkMaterial pattern for materials to be generated correctly. Unfortunately, there is no way to tell if this is the case without trying it and seeing if it works. If it doesn't work, you can expect one of the following to happen when you select a new hair color:

      1. V's hair will turn fully black or white.

      2. V's hair will turn invisible.

      3. V's hair will have the wrong textures (e.g. basegame hair textures instead of the mod's custom hair textures).

      []Do CCXL hair colors need to be higher in the load order than CCXL hairstyles?

      No. Archive load order doesn't matter because they don't replace basegame resources.

      • What happens if I uninstall this mod with a new color selected for my chosen hair/eyebrow/beard style?

        Your currently selected hair/eyelash/eyebrow/beard style will point to a material that no longer exists, so hair/eyebrows/eyelashes/beard will be invisible until you go back to a mirror or ripperdoc and select a color option that still exists (such as any of the 35 basegame colors).
