📋 About This Mod
56 real radio stations from 30 countries. Moroccan Andalusi, Jamaican reggae, Polish chiptune, Sámi-language Norwegian, Tunisian Tarab, North Korean state radio, Kenyan urban contemporary, Icelandic public, and 48 more. The Final Cut
What This Is
Drive through Night City listening to Sufi devotional music from Casablanca. Take a Pacifica scenic detour soundtracked by Greek public radio's classical hour. Hit the Badlands while Polish chiptune from Warsaw plays on 250 FM. Roll into Watson with Mandopop classics from Singapore on 88. 3. Catch FM4 Vienna's bilingual electronic at 103. 8 while running a delivery in Westbrook. Tune to Kiss 100 Nairobi at 100. 3 in a Heywood barrio.
This is the Final Cut treatment of Cyberpunk 2077's audio layer — a music-only radio overhaul that opens Night City's dial to the rest of the planet. Public broadcasters, community stations, indigenous-language radio, underground electronic, traditional musics, diaspora streams. The dial spans from 1. 3 to 289. 0 FM, with each frequency anchored to a real station broadcasting right now.
Why this exists
CD Projekt Red built one of the most visually polyglot cities in gaming and gave it a radio dial dominated by anglophone pop and synthwave. Night City is canonically a melting pot of Haitians, Latinx populations, Japanese corpos, Eastern European nomads, Maori cultural references, Pacific Islander communities — a city whose lore actively centers diaspora and migration. Its radio should reflect that.
This mod is a curatorial argument: that polyvocal cultural integration is the real cyberpunk aesthetic, and that the future-Night-City of 2077 should sound like the actual planet rather than a single monoculture. Every station was selected for cultural specificity, sonic distinctiveness, and the way it threads into the game's existing themes. The Adwaa MaZika 5 broadcast from Morocco is the project's heart — the station that started the whole thing. NRK Sápmi (Norway's Indigenous Sámi-language broadcaster) speaks to the Aldecaldos. Pyongyang Radio FM is included for its haunting, otherworldly propaganda music as a piece of curated alterity. Polish ModFM streams chiptune and demoscene tracks from Warsaw — a tribute to the demoscene heritage that fed into CD Projekt Red itself. RJR 94 in Kingston broadcasts reggae and dancehall on the same dial as Tunisia's Mosaique trio plays Arabic classical Tarab. Beijing Arts Radio anchors the bottom of the dial at 87. 6 with state-broadcaster Mandarin classical/cultural programming — the most genuinely Cyberpunk-coded broadcast in the entire pack.
The result is 56 frequencies across 30 country/region groups, every one empirically verified to actually play through FMOD's audio decoder during in-game testing across 22 expansion rounds. No fabricated URLs, no dead streams, no aspirational entries — just the curated residue of months of empirical work.
