Updated this mod with 2 version : 1. Disable cascaded shadow, including player shadow, NPC, vehicles, etc (Ray-Tracing and Path-Tracing local shadow not affected)2. Disable all shadow without exception (Ray-Tracing and Path-Tracing shadow
For me the player shadow often distracting because of it's weird body proportion and animation especially when moving, holding or switching weapon, you can see something clearly off with it and for me it break immersion, and it's ashame because the game world is so good to look at except for that one player shadow. Unfortunately for now i still can't find a way to remove only the player shadow without affecting everything else. So i updated this mod just to be clear what this .ini tweak does.
So in short, if for whatever reason you need to disable shadows in this game, this mod can disable some or all of it.
And it does increase performance about 20-30 fps depending on the scene.
Installation :
1. Copy the downloaded .ini file to your game folder "\Cyberpunk 2077\engine\config\platform\pc"
