📋 About This Mod
!!!Abandoned!!!
I no longer play CP2077 and so will not be updating this if/when CDProjekt breaks it. I have absolutely no issue with someone else cloning this mod and updating it themselves.
Summary
1. 3 basically made it impossible to play a stealthy netrunner. Quickhacking any enemy when they were in the alert state caused them to kick off a "Revealing your position" reverse-hack. This ruins the fun of this playstyle and also doesn't really match up with how I'd expect things to work (only net-savvy enemies should know how to reverse-hack). So I wrote a mod to prevent any enemies other than netrunners from reverse-hacking you.
Compatibility
This is compatible with AI Netrunners Enhanced and would make a great companion to that mod.
Any mod which changes NPCPuppet. RevealPlayerPositionIfNeeded is incompatible, but I only changed a few lines, so any mods which also update that could easily be modified to also disable reverse-hacks.

- Directly improves stealth viability by removing a common detection trigger.
- Simple, focused change that doesn't overhaul other mechanics.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in January 2022 — may be incompatible with current game patches.
- Doesn't affect alert netrunners, so you'll still get caught by them.
For Cyberpunk 2077 stealth players who rely on quickhacks and want to avoid detection. If you're tired of enemies instantly knowing your position after a quickhack, this mod is for you. Skip if you prefer a more challenging stealth experience or if you're on the latest game version without confirmed compatibility.
