Deeper Voice V - Masc. V Voiceover

Description

Edits V's voice to have a much lower pitch. Makes it sounds a lot deeper and raspier. Perfect for when you have an older/meaner looking V. Think Kratos but with a wider emotional range. This is not an AI mod, I've edited the files manually, so all of the cadence and emotions of the original voice acting is preserved. I tried a BUNCH of the AI voiceover mods but they all have the same problem- they absolutely butcher the VA quality, especially in emotionally charged scenes. Not the case with this mod.

The original voice acting for V is phenomenal but let's be honest, it simply does NOT fit any custom characters apart from a young white male V. I mean you just cannot have a V that looks like this:

and yet sounds like an angsty teenager. God forbid you have a black character- with that pitchy voice there is no chance for immersion at all.

I hope this mod addresses this issue for all 5 of the masc V players.

In the demo video you will see 2 sections, one is a normal conversation with Takemura, and the other is the introductory sequence of Phantom Liberty, which is features a fairly emotionally diverse range of voice acting.

There's an older version of the mod in the optional files in case you want a slight robotic timbre to the voice. Install only one of the two files.

Compatibility

Not compatible with any other voiceover mods or any mods that replace V's voiceover files.
