📋 About This Mod

Version 1. 5:

- Removed Gorilla Knuckles switching, because the game now uses separate male and female models by default.

Version 1. 4. 1:

- Fixed monowire crash by returning one of the files from the previous patch version.

Version 1. 4:

- Remade the patch with the latest version of the files.

- Male Mantis blade skins should now work when using the new MaxTac blades.

- Added a new optional mod containing most of the basic cyberarm meshes. These meshes fix the shiny arm skin that occur in certain lighting conditions. Thanks to Fizz508 who made me aware of, and provided a few of the meshes with this fix implemented. Make sure that this mod is at the bottom of your load order, so that there are no issues with other arm mods you might have. This fix will not affect any other cyberarm mods you might have installed.

Version 1. 3:

- Fixed the glows on male Mantis elemental damage blades.

Version 1. 2:

- Fixed skin tone 5 on female gorilla arms.

- Removed differently colored monowire wires. It was an unnecessary addition. They can be gotten from, for example, Arasaka Cyberarms wire library.

Version 1. 1. 1:

- Fixed skin tone 2 on unmodded female gorilla right arm.

Version 1. 1:

- Uses the REdmod folder now. Make sure you install the free REDmod DLC for your game.

- Weapon Grip no longer shares meshes between male and female characters.

- Monowires have gotten color variations for electrical/chemical/thermal damage mods.

Several parts of the different cyberarms are shared between male and female characters. When using any mod that replaces one or more of these meshes all characters are affected. This mod will change the meshes used when a save is loaded, depending on the body type your character has.

Most mods replacing any of the affected meshes will likely require updates to be compatible. Exceptions are mods that only replace meshes that weren't changed with this patch. An example would be the CyberKitch arms; they are only for female characters and with this patch they should not show up on male characters anymore.

(RED items change to GREEN items for the specified characters, they are not included with the patch.)

(PURPLE items are included with the patch because they have been edited or added.)

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Massive community trust (17,864 endorsements, 1.6M downloads) – this is a must-have for anyone using cyberarms.
  • Fixes a glaring visual bug that breaks immersion for many players.
  • Simple, focused patch – does exactly what it says with no bloat.

⚠️ Cons

  • Only affects visual meshes – no gameplay changes, so if you're looking for new mechanics, skip.
  • Author notes it does nothing noticeable if you're not using the affected cyberarms – so it's useless for non-cyberarm builds.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Cyberpunk 2077 players who use cyberarms and want correct gender-specific visuals. Essential for roleplayers and screenshot enthusiasts. Skip if you never equip cyberarms or don't care about mesh accuracy.

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure you have the base game updated to the latest version – this patch is recent (July 2026) and may rely on current game files.
  • If you use a mod manager like Vortex, drop the file into the mods folder and enable it – but manual installation works too.
  • Test with a character that has cyberarms equipped to see the difference immediately – if nothing changes, you may have a load order conflict.
