The Asset Reclamation Protocol = Triggered by Property Theft or Industrial Sabotage (Gigs). Law enforcement is replaced by Retrieval Teams focused on neutralizing the thief to recover stolen data or prototypes.

Counter-Intelligence 'Clean Sweep' = Triggered by interfering with Sanctioned Corporate Operations (NCPD Hustles). If V stops a "crime" that was actually a Corpo hit, they are flagged as an Obstructive Witness for immediate "disposal."

Jurisdictional Privatization = Implementation of Area Denial Zones. In high-wealth districts, the NCPD has no authority; stars trigger High-Threat Corporate Security (HTCS) units like Arasaka or Militech instead of beat cops.

Subcontractor Termination = Triggered by Excessive Collateral Damage or Operational Failure. V’s "Authorized Merc" status is revoked, turning the NCPD from allies into predators.
