📋 About This Mod
1. What it does?
Game uses baked shadow to shade the eyes, in addition to standard shading for dynamic objects. It gives volume to the eyes, without it eyes look flat.
At the same time, this shadow makes visible gaps between eye and head in places where it shouldn't do it.
The mod fixes this by removing the baked shadow in places where eyes are attached to the head by muscles.
Mod affects all characters (hopefully).
There are several versions of the mod.
Maximum is the solution for those facing clipping of the eyeballs with eye shadow mask (yes, it has own mesh) on the inner side. Consider installing the Facial Customisation Rig Fix to fix this problem if you haven't already. Or you can use Maximum version if you just like it better.
Realistic - retains more shadow than the Maximum version, thus not making the eye look flat on inner side. It removes only the most necessary part to remove. Default version of the mod.
BigEyes Full - makes a shadow near upper eyelid almost symmetrical to the shadow near lower eyelid. Good for use with mods that make lashes thinner.
BigEyes Half - basically medium variant between Realistic and BigEyes Full.
Be sure to use only one version at the time!

2. Compatibility
Compatible with all mods not changing file base\characters\common\eyes\textures\eye_shadow_mask.xbm.
Definitely compatible with:
- Unique Eyes Core, its modern variants (1, 2) and all mods dependent on it.
- Eye Depth (Normals) Fix
- Facial Customisation Rig Fix - No more clipping Eyes
Mod changes one base game texture file, so there can be no serious incompatibilities.
3. How to use this mod?
To install, unpack downloaded .zip archive to Cyberpunk 2077 folder. Unpack only one archive at the time.
To uninstall, remove unpacked .archive files from Cyberpunk 2077/archive/pc/mod folder.
alechb_Better_Eye_Shadow_Mask.archive (8. 2 Kb) is just a placeholder for deprecated first version of the mod. You can remove this file after installation.
