    Mod Details

    Attribute checks come in the form of dialogue choices tied to a specific attribute, forcing open doors (Body and/or Technical), Hacking Access Points and Laptops (Intelligence), Disabling Cameras (Technical), and I am sure others that I am forgetting.  The game breaks down attribute checks into five categories:

    • []None

      []Medium

      []Impossible

    Note: These categories are completely unrelated to the game difficulty you set when you create your character or in the settings menu under Gameplay | Game Difficulty

The base game uses the Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty checks each use a different curve that appear to tie the check difficulty to your player level.  Also in the base game, the None difficulty sets the check at a static difficulty value of 3, and Impossible at a static difficulty value of 20, regardless of player level.  After Update 2. 0, these curves increased aggressively, which made some checks more difficult than seemed appropriate to the situation.
