AudioWare Radio Framework is a Cyberpunk 2077 mod that adds custom radio stations to the native Radioport and vehicle radio interfaces. Requires RED4ext, redscript, Codeware, TweakXL.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Small but dedicated user base — 23 endorsements and 1,933 downloads for a niche framework.
- Deep integration with native radio UI, including combat music handoff and PocketRadio restrictions.
- Supports multiple station packs and detects duplicate station-index and TweakDB-record conflicts.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires four separate mods (RED4ext, redscript, Codeware, TweakXL) to be installed and updated concurrently.
- Doesn't include any actual radio stations — you need independent AudioWare station packs to get content.
- Small user base means community troubleshooting and station pack availability are sparse.
For Cyberpunk 2077 players who want new radio stations inside the vanilla Radioport and vehicle radio without janky external players. Great for mod authors building AudioWare station packs that need native integration. Skip if you're expecting standalone music — you'll need to also find and install station packs, and be comfortable managing four script extender dependencies.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Install RED4ext first, then redscript, Codeware, and TweakXL — they must all be the latest versions or stations won't appear.
- After installing, you'll need to add AudioWare station packs separately; the framework alone won't play any music.
- If custom stations don't show in the Radioport, verify your station pack's folder structure and check for duplicate TweakDB records mentioned in the mod description.
