Adaptive Traffic Headlights

Did you get sick of idiot drivers having their lights on all the time? Me too!

What this mod does:

• []NPC driven vehicles will automatically adjust their headlights based on time of day and weather[/]

  []Side effect of making this work, it is necessary to assign new colors to the headlights, but I tried to keep them as close to vanilla as possible[/]

  []Fully configurable via CET or RedWindows, pick your flavour.[/]

  []Preset configuration for Nova City available in optional files[/]

  []Updates are not instant, changes are made to npc vehicles when they are spawned in the world. This keeps performance impact minimal.[/]

  []Also controls street lights, allowing full and granular control over city lighting.[/]

  Quirks I have yet to figure out:

  • []If 'Off' brightness is any value > 0, the light cast may be dim but the actual lights on the cars can still be bright. So far unable to change this behaviour without causing various forms of jank.[/]

    []Vehicle LOD models still always have their lights on, and once the higher quality model phases in the lights are off. If someone knows where to look to adjust this, please ping meh.[/]

    Not sure what else I can say. That's about it...

    I just got annoyed that everyone was always driving around in the middle of a sunny day with their high beams on. Watch me ramble on about the mod in this highly professional video :)

      []Night City Traffic Overhaul OK, but disable their lights features if you want ALL the features of this mod to work correctly.[/]

      []Mods that chance timescale are also fine.[/]
