No Pet Loot Collection

Description

The main purpose of this mod is to give you control over looting by preventing pets from automatically collecting items for you. Your companions can stay by your side while you decide what to pick up and what to leave behind, keeping unwanted items out of your inventory and preserving the experience of looting for yourself.

Installation instructions

• []Close Crimson Desert before installing or changing editions.[/]

  []Download your preferred edition of Disable Pet Loot Collection: JSON v2, JSON v3, or Looting Toggle – ASI. Use only one edition at a time.[/]

  []For JSON v2 or JSON v3: Import the ZIP into DMM. If your manager requires a JSON file, extract the ZIP and import the included .json file.[/]

  []Enable Disable Pet Loot Collection in your mod list, select Apply/Mount, and confirm that the patches apply without errors.[/]

  []For the ASI edition: Disable any JSON edition of this mod in DMM and select Apply/Mount before installing.[/]

  []Extract PetLootToggle.asi and PetLootToggle.ini into the game’s bin64 folder, beside CrimsonDesert.exe.[/]

  []The ASI edition requires a compatible x64 ASI loader. If your other ASI mods already work, use your existing loader.[/]

  []Launch the game. With the ASI edition, pet looting starts disabled. Press Shift + F2 to enable or disable it during play. A top-left status message and a beep confirm each toggle. Manual looting remains available.[/]

    []Targets shared pet behavior - Uses a common pet-looting condition rather than a restriction tied to an individual species.[/]

    []In-game toggle with the ASI edition - Press Shift + F2 to enable or disable pet looting without restarting the game or dismissing your pet.[/]

    []Disabled by default - The ASI edition starts with pet looting disabled each time you launch the game.[/]

    []Visual and audio feedback - The ASI edition displays “Pet Looting Enabled” or “Pet Looting Disabled” in the top-left corner, accompanied by a confirmation beep.[/]

    []Customizable F-key - Change the ASI edition’s F-key in its configuration file to suit your preferred controls.[/]

    Requirements

    • []Crimson Desert on PC, version 2. 02. 00 - The ASI edition requires executable build 1. 0. 0. 2850. Other game versions have not been verified.[/]

      []DMM for the JSON editions - DMM was used for testing. Other mod managers may work if they support the selected JSON or AsI format, but compatibility has not been verified.[/]

      []A compatible x64 ASI loader for the ASI edition - If your other ASI mods already work, use your existing loader. DMM is not required for manual ASI installation.[/]
