📋 About This Mod
Mods can add their own keyboard shortcuts, but the game's key-binding screen only lists the built-in actions. That leaves mod shortcuts stuck on whatever key the author picked, with no way to change them in-game. This fixes that. Modded Keybinds adds a page under Options > Accessibility, next to the Keyboard/Mouse and Controller pages. Supported mods list their shortcuts there, grouped by mod, and you rebind them with the same key recorder the base game uses. Bindings are saved by the game and stick across sessions and saves. It's a framework, not a standalone feature. On its own the page is empty; it fills in as you add mods that support it. If you're here because another mod asked you to install this, that's why. Built to stay out of the way: - It adds a new options page instead of replacing the game's key-binding screen, so it overrides no base-game file and won't clash with other UI or keybinding mods. - It only reads and writes key bindings. No gameplay changes, and nothing is written to your saves. - Works on new games and loaded saves, from the main menu and in game. Base game only, no DLC required. For mod authors: Making your shortcuts rebindable takes one call from your UI script: globalThis. Modkit?. Keybinds?.register({ actionId: "your-action-id", modName: "Your Mod" }); You write no rebinding logic of your own - your existing handler matches the action, so a remap just changes which key fires it. It also degrades quietly: if a player doesn't have Modded Keybinds
