WHAT THE MOD DOES

Weather lets you choose the weather and the time of the open world, in place of the game. You click a weather in its window, and it arrives in about ten seconds.

THE WEATHER

• []Thirteen weathers of the game to choose from: clear, pollen, light rain, rain, heavy rain, fog, snow, light dust, dust, heavy dust, poison, blood rain and spooky.[/]

  []Each weather has its card with a picture: one click starts it.[/]

  []Three modes. PLAY: the weather lasts the duration you chose, then the game takes its weather back. PERMANENT: the weather stays. ROTATION: the next weather of your list comes at each duration.[/]

  []The duration goes from 2 minutes to 24 hours.[/]

  []One checkbox per weather: uncheck the ones you no longer want to see, the rotation and the keys skip them.[/]

  []Two keys to assign in the menu: next weather and previous weather, so you no longer have to open the menu.[/]

  []The RESUME button gives the weather back to the game.[/]

  THE TIME OF DAY

  Four moments to choose from: morning, day, evening, night.

  Two modes. PLAY: the game goes to that moment, then the day goes on. PERMANENT: the moment stays.

  The RESUME button gives the clock back to the game: the day goes on from the held moment.

  GOOD TO KNOW

  The weather and the time are set in the open world only. Elsewhere, the window tells you so.

  A permanent weather comes back by itself after a loading screen, and when you launch the game again.

  The mod does not touch your save.

  The mod has its own menu in the game, in English or French, with three pages.

  Mode: Play by default.

  Duration: 10 minutes by default.

  The list of weathers, all checked by default.

  TIME OF DAY

  Mode: Play by default.

  Works with keyboard/mouse and with a controller.

  No key is assigned by default: choose yours.

  Controller icons: PlayStation or Xbox.

  Opening the window

  Open the console with ~, type mods, then choose Weather: its menu opens.

  The ENABLED button, on the left of the window, turns the whole mod on or off.

  Requirements

    []The Steam version of the game. The Epic Games version has not been tested: if the mod does not work on Epic Games, describe the problem in detail in a comment.[/]

    INSTALLATION

    First install the Borderlands 4 Python SDK (link above), if you have not already.

    With Vortex

    • []Install the Weather file with the Vortex button.[/]
      • []Download the Weather file, open the archive and copy weather.sdkmod into ...\Borderlands 4\sdk_mods\[/]

        Then launch the game, load your game and open the mod's window.

        To uninstall: delete weather.sdkmod from the sdk_mods folder, or use Vortex. The game takes its weather and its clock back at the next launch.

          What was tested, and what was not

            []The mod was only tested in the first zone of the game, so elsewhere you may run into some rough weather: if a weather looks wrong in another zone, say so in a comment with the weather's name and the place.[/]

            You will surely run into bugs. Report them in the Bugs tab or in a comment, saying what you were doing when it happened.
